SUPERVISING
SECURITY OFFICER

In addition to the duties required of a Security Officer, Supervising Security Officers are required to supervise all Security Officers on his/her shift, review and approve all written reports relative to that shift, maintain verbal and written communication with the site property manager, maintain verbal and written communication with the GPS regional manager, prepare/complete employee performance appraisals on relative Security Officers.

Minimum Requirements:
Security Officer All applicants must:
  • possess a valid and current CA guard card
  • possess valid and current CA approved CPR/First Aid endorsements
  • possess a valid CA Driver’s License
  • possess the standard compliment of related equipment (handcuffs, OC, flashlight, etc.)
  • be 18 years of age or older
  • be available for flexible work hours
  • have good verbal and written communication skills
  • have reliable communication (mobile & email)
  • be in good physical shape
  • be reliable and able to work nights and weekends
  • have a great personality and conflict resolution skills
  • have the ability to react calmly to secure safety for all residents and visitors
All Supervising Security Officer applicants must meet the above minimum requirements and must have at least one year of supervisory experience to qualify.
